Dr Floyd R. Beecham Sr. established Urban Hope Ministries in 1999, we partnered with coalitions, business and other agencies to promote quality of life and reduce the incidence of lifestyle related diseases.

Minister Pam White inherited Urban Hope Ministries (Urban Hope) in 2015 and operates the organization under Jabez Customized Living Service (Jabez CLS) which is a DBA (Doing Business As).Urban Hope Ministries is an affiliate organization of Health Empowerment Resource (HER) Center. It is a Health Ministry Networking Organization that emphasizes wholeness of the mind, body and spirit. 

Urban Hope and HER Center recognized that improving the health of the entire community goes beyond the organization and doctor patient visits. Our focus remains as a evidence based strategies that address health priorities identified by the state’s plan “Healthy 2020:

  2. Faith Initiatives program will focus on the spiritual health by shedding the light on hope, wellness and transformation. They also reach out and disseminate information to faith leaders. Through collaboration and education, we are reducing faith-based stigma and shame through spiritual guidance, reflection and relationship building. We are creating a network where UHM and local faith communities can collaborate in the message of healing and affirming in holistic ways.

Our Mission

Urban Hope's Mission is to provide professional manage life restoration services through holistic assessment, counseling, advisory and on-going guidance. 

 

By providing an integrated network of resources facilitating life changing empowerment of individuals, families, and communities. Restoring hope in our communities by breaking the cycles of poverty, untreated mental health, alcohol/drug addiction, homelessness, domestic abuse and violence.
